FYI The group from Tyler will be at the church Monday, July 27, around 10 AM. Mrs. Willi will be there, as will Rev. Robbins. Please be keep this group in your prayers, as they may be a real blessing for our mission!

I'll leave another comment, though I am starting to feel like I'm preaching to an empty sanctuary!
I heard back from Betty and Thomas Q. The group showed up and took a lot of pictures and measurements of the church. They are going to come up with an estimate, and my understanding is that they will get with Joe Fort about what we can and cannot do. I for one would be very interested in seeing the estimate and what's possible.
Thanks again to Thomas Q and Betty for being there and making this happen!

Don't feel too bad about the lack of response, Pastor Larry. Less than half of our CLM candidates have full-time access to e-mail or the web so response is predicatably going to be slim to none.

The news that you share is quite wonderful. I share your interest in discovery of the estimate costs and what will be deemed possible.

And this just came in -
The building survey results of the Marvin UMC construction team from are here, by way of our District Superintendent, Rev. Joe Fort:

Eric,

I appreciate everyone's commitment to the Lott project. In case the word was not out, the group from Marvin UMC in Tyler will be coming to do work on the Lott church over the weekend of October 16-18. I think they plan to do several things, including repainting the exterior of the church, some improvements in the restroom and kitchen, and putting in another outside door (with ramp). This will all be welcome work, and will help the church.
